Practice overview

My practice consists of effectively representing both individuals and businesses in a diverse spectrum of civil litigation matters. After working as in-house counsel at a Fortune 500 company for more than three years, I changed course and entered private practice in 2015 with the primary goals of working directly with clients to establish a solid rapport and then collaborating with clients to determine appropriate litigation strategies. I successfully implemented my foregoing methodology during the last few years and have obtained several favorable results on behalf of clients in the following areas:

• Dissolution of marriage actions including issues of child custody and support, alimony, and division of marital assets

• Personal injury claims arising out of ATV accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and slip and falls

• Workers' compensation claims against employers
• Homeowners' insurance claims arising out of hail and storm damage
• Commercial liability insurance claims arising out of damage to crops and semi tractors
• Construction defect claims
• Breach of contract claims
• Collection actions regarding outstanding past due accounts and judgments on behalf of banks, businesses, and individuals
• Real estate transactions
• Evictions on behalf of landlords

Prior to embarking on my legal career, I taught Spanish at the high school level for six years and continue to utilize Spanish in my practice today.
